The Ides of December brings us Jefferson’s, a “Straight Bourbon Whiskey” that’s 41.2% alcohol. 2015-12-13 Jefferson's

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jefferson%27s_Bourbon – there’s a web site, but it’s one of those scrolling monstrosities that values design over comprehensibility and jumps about like a hyperactive child after a lunch consisting entirely of Mars Bars washed down with Jolt Cola, so we’re going with Wikipedia.

Despite its low alcohol content, there’s a fair amount of fire to this bourbon. It’s got some sharpness in the nose, and more on the palate. In fact, it’s bitter in the mouth, which Christina opines makes it “a great mint julep bourbon.”
